The Services offered by Carbal Medical Centre include:
General Practice including after hours service**;

Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health Workers;
Hearing Health Screening,
New Directions Midwife, Child Health Nurse, Breastfeeding Support and Aboriginal Health Workers for Indigenous Mothers and babies;
Health Promotion;
Disease prevention (including Immunisation and Sexual Health);
Diabetes Care;
Diabetes Educator (through Bluecare);
Respiratory Care Nurse (through Innovex);
Mental and Emotional Wellbeing including Psychological Services*;
Stolen Generation Counselling*;
Transport* and;
Chronic Disease Management.

Funding
Carbal Medical Centre is mainly funded through the Office of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health (OATSIH).
Funding is also received from Queensland Health. Funding is also sought from other funding bodies both government andphilanthropic. The Smith Family provide support to Carbal Medical Centre through the "Deadly Readers" and other
programs. The reporting requirements of these funding bodies also assist in ensuring accountability and transparency in
utilisation of funding.
Accreditation
Carbal Medical Centre is currently accredited with Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) and working towards ISO 9001 Accreditation.
