The Learning for Life Program is run in collaboration with the Rockville State Primary School. An Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker facilitates a weekly session with the children, focused on healthy eating, physical activity, hygiene care, self esteem and leadership and when appropriate for the older children, sexual health information. This program also builds stronger relationships with teachers, parents and other siblings as well as the children in the program. Hearing Health screening is also delivered by Carbal Medical Centre through the program.
