Carbal Medical Centre has an Aboriginal Health Worker trained in doing Hearing Health Checks for Children and Adults.

Checks are done at schools in the Toowoomba area and can be done at Carbal Medical Centre for adults or children.

Hearing well is extremely important, especially for children as they develop. Not being able to hear in the classroom makes acheiving difficult for children, early intervention is the key.

Australian Hearing also provide monthly Hearing Screening at Carbal Medical Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
