There are health checks for Children, Adults and Older Persons. A Health Check is an important way of checking how your health is going. Carbal Medical Centre promotes checks for Children (0-14 years), Adults(15 – 54years) and Older Person’s (55+years). These checks are done by the whole team, the nurse,and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health worker, who all work in you and with the Doctor. The health check then allows your doctor (and other members of the team) to give you information to form strategies to improve your health. These strategies are your own, formulated to meet your own needs in a way that suits you.
