Emergencies will always be given priority and our reception staff will attempt to contact you if there is any unforeseen delay or your GP has been called away. Longer consultation times are available, so please ask our receptionists if you require some extra time. If you or a family member requires an interpreter service, we can organise this for you but please let us know when you make the appointment. Home and nursing home visits are available for regular patients of this practice whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery. Please enquire at reception about availability of home visits. (Home visits are only available within Toowoomba city and are at the discretion of the doctor). Talking to the Doctor on the Telephone:GPs in the practice may be contacted during normal surgery hours. If the GP is with a patient, a message will be taken and the reception staff will advise you when it is likely that the GP will return your call. This is only a guide, as the doctor will call when it fits their workload. Fees:This practice bulk bills all clients, except for Workplace or other medicals. You will need to discuss the billing structure for these with the doctor or General Manager. After hours services also attract an "out of pocket" fee. This means a cost to you that you cannot get back from Medicare. Test Results:Your doctor will advise when they expect the results to arrive at the practice. Call us between 10am and 2pm to talk to the nurse or doctor to find out your results and what they mean for your care. Your records:Your medical record is a confidential document.
